MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The Harold Walter Siebens School of Business at Buena VistaUniversity (BVU) seeks a dynamic teacher who is committed toexcellence in undergraduate agricultural business education. Thesuccessful candidate will teach a variety of courses within theAgricultural Business bachelor’s degree program and may includecourses such as: Introduction to Agricultural Business, FarmBusiness Management, Agri-Business Management, AgriculturalEconomics, Agricultural Production and Operations Management, andIntroduction to Ag Commodity Markets; in addition to assisting withcoursework within the business core curriculum and generaleducation program. This position will serve as lead faculty in theAgricultural Business program, working collaboratively to developand guide the program.The major is designed to grow agricultural professions who possessstrong analytical, interpersonal, and professional skill setsgrounded in a comprehensive understanding of agricultural business.The curriculum emphasizes experiential learning throughopportunities such as internships, practicums, seminars, attendanceat professional conferences, and partnering with faculty onresearch.
